Customstone is ideal for kitchen tables, dining room tables, and coffee tables, where you want furniture that adds to the beauty of your room, yet is resistant to the spills and other abuses of daily living. To fit your specific needs, all tabletops are custom made-to-order in the size, shape, and color of your choice.

Design Considerations

  • Every Customstone tabletop comes in a 7/8” standard thickness (± 1/16”).
  • Tabletops with a length and width both greater than 48” require a practically invisible bonded seam. Therefore, a 48” x 120” table has no seam, but a 50” x 120” table does.
  • A maximum overhang of 8” beyond the supports of the table is allowable.
  • Length, width and diameter dimensions are within ± 1/4” of the nominal dimension.
  • Tabletops have a weight similar to a piece of glass or stone of the same size at 8 lbs per square foot.
  • The tabletop will rest on top of a table base similar to the way glass or stone rests on a base. Additional methods for mounting tabletops, such as threaded inserts for mounting screws, are available at an additional cost.

“Furniture manufacturers are also using solid surface in their designs for residential applications such as dining room tables and buffet tops. . . . Not only is the new product (solid surface tabletops) ideally suited to today’s family on the go, but all the design elements combine to produce a furniture-quality look and feel."
